Directorate of Recruitment, The Indian Coast Guard (ICG), Ministry of Defence (MoD) has invited the Applications in Online Mode from the Indian Youth for Recruitment to the 1) Post of Navik (General Duty), 2) Navik (Domestic Branch) and 3) Yantrik. The Youth committed to serve the Nation with the Objective of building a secure future and duly meeting Eligibility in reference to the Post for Induction into the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union, may apply in confidence under the Employment Caption “The Coast Guard Enrolled Personnel Test (CGEPT)-01/2023 Batch. The Last Date for Candidate’s Online Registration of Applications with the Testimonials and Documents with Online Examination Fee Payment shall close on 22nd September 2022 (22.09.2022).

Age Limits: Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 22 Years for the General Merit Candidates (i.e., the Candidates should have been born between 1st May 2001 up to 30th April 2005.
Total: 300 Vacancies with Branch-specific Breakup:
Navik (General Duty): 225 Vacancies including 87 Vacancies earmarked for Un-Reserved Category
Navik (Domestic Branch): 40 Vacancies including 16 Vacancies included for General Category
Yantrik (Mechanical): 16 Vacancies inclusive of 05 Vacancies for Open Category
Yantrik (Electrical): 10 Vacancies comprising 03 Vacancies for Un-Reserved Category
Yantrik (Electronics): 09 Vacancies with 04 Vacancies included for General Merit Candidates
Selection Procedure:
The Directorate of Recruitment and the Integrated Head-Quarter shall conduct Selection of Candidates based on an All India order of Merit based on their Individual Performance in Stage-I, Stage-II, Stage-III and Stage-IV (explained in detail) and meeting the laid down Medical Standards during Medical Examination and availability of the Vacancies subject to the number the Post.
