IIT Mandi or Indian Institute of Technology Mandi is a public technical and research university which is located in Kamand Valley, Mandi city in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. Established in February of the year 2009, it is known to be one of the eight newer Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India under The Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 2011. The institute right now is inviting online applications from Indian national candidates for the vacant post of Sports Officer.
There are a total of 2 vacancies for the mentioned position, and the last date for the submission of online application forms is 28th October 2022 till 5:00 p.m. (IST). The eligibility conditions preferred for the recruitment will be determined as on the last date of the submission of online application forms. The posts are tenable in IIT Mandi at Kamand, District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. The recruitment for the mentioned job profile will be initially on probation for a period of up to one year from the date of joining the post in the institute. The appointment might be regularized after the successful completion of the probation period.

Essential Educational Qualifications for the Post in the IIT Mandi Recruitment 2022
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Physical Education or Master’s Degree in Sports Science with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) with a consistently good academic record. Also, he/she should have a record of having represented Inter University/ College at interuniversity competitions or State and /or National Championships. Or the candidate should have qualified the National- level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC and passed the physical fitness test conducted in accordance with these regulations.
