North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC), Umiam is an autonomous body functioning under the Department of Space and North Eastern Council (NEC) to assist the development process in the North Eastern Region using space science and technology. It undertakes specific applications projects using remote sensing, GIS, satellite communication, and conducting space science research. NESAC is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Research Scientist and Junior Research Fellow on a temporary project basis. There are a total of 19 vacancies for the post.
Research Scientist – 10 Vacancies
Junior Research Fellow – 9 Vacancies
The maximum age limit for Research Scientist is 35 years and for Junior Research Fellow is 28 years. The monthly remuneration paid is between Rs. 56100 to Rs. 177500.
