Station Headquarters Silchar, Masimpur Military Station has issued a recruitment notice for the post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) in the Group ‘C’ category. The position is open for eligible candidates who are Indian Nationals and meet the required educational qualifications. As per Indian Army Recruitment 2023 official notification, the candidates should have passed the 12th class or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. Additionally, they should have passed a typing test with a minimum speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on a computer. The desirable qualification is computer knowledge. The age limit for candidates is between 18 to 27 years on the closing date for receipt of the application. The position has an all-India service liability and a probationary period of two years from the date of recruitment. As per Indian Army Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selected candidates will be placed in the pay level-2 as per the 7th CPC (Rs 19900-63200).
Applicants should submit their applications in the prescribed format along with the required documents such as a photocopy of the educational qualification certificate duly self-attested, a photocopy of the birth certificate, and two self-addressed envelopes with Rs 25/- stamps on each for registered post. The selection process will involve a screening of applications by a Board of Officers, followed by a written test and typing test, which will be conducted at Masimpur Military Station, Cachar Assam-788025.
