The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has invited nominations for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector on a deputation basis. The recruitment drive is aimed at filling up 44 Vacancies across multiple cities in India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Chennai. The post falls under the General Central Service Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted Non-Ministerial category, and the pay scale ranges from Rs.29,200 to Rs.92,300, with a special allowance of 20% of basic pay towards security.
As per National Investigation Agency Recruitment 2023 official notification, the eligibility criteria for the post, including educational qualification and experience, have been outlined in Annexure-I, which can be accessed through the NIA website. The position is open to officers of the Central Government State Government or Union Territories, who are either holding an analogous post on a regular basis or one rank up if they have completed five years of regular service in the grade of Head Constable (pay scale PB-1 with GP 2400 pre-revised) with a graduation degree from a recognized university and at least two years of experience in the field of investigation of criminal cases, intelligence work, operations, or information technology management.
