The Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) is a government agency under the Government of India responsible for investigating white-collar crimes and financial frauds. In a recent announcement, the SFIO has invited applications for filling up 40 posts on a deputation basis from officers under the Central Government/State Government/Union Territories/Public Sector Undertakings/ Semi-Government/ Autonomous bodies or statutory organizations. The positions are spread across different locations, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, and Hyderabad, and the selected candidates will be placed in the respective locations.
SFIO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the pay and allowances for the selected officers will be governed by the provisions laid down in the Department of Personnel & Training OM No.6/8/2009-Estt (Pay-f) dated 17th June 2010, and they will also be eligible for Special Security Allowance (SSA) at 20% of the basic pay. However, no deputation allowance will be admissible along with SSA. Interested applicants are required to fulfill the prescribed essential requirements of the post and other conditions stipulated in the advertisement, and the applications should be submitted in the prescribed format, duly signed by the candidate and countersigned by the employer/CCA.
