The Border Security Force has announced the recruitment for Non-Gazetted and Non-Ministerial posts of Head Constable (Radio Operator) and Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) in Group ‘C’ on a temporary basis. The selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. As per BSF Recruitment 2023 official notification, the online application process will start on 22 April 2023 at 11:00 PM and will close on 13 May 2023 at 11:59 PM. Interested candidates are required to apply online at the official website of BSF only as no other mode of submission is allowed. The posts have all India liability and are likely to be made permanent. The candidates will be governed by the BSF Act and Rules on appointment.
As per BSF Recruitment 2023 official notification, the vacancies are divided into 75% quota against Direct Entry and 25% quota against Departmental (BSF serving personnel). The pay scale for Head Constable (Radio Operator) and Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) is Level-4 in the Pay Matrix, which is ₹ 25,500- ₹ 81,100 as per 7 CPC, along with various other allowances like Dearness Allowance, Ration Money Allowance, Dress Allowance, and many more. The eligibility criteria for Head Constable (Radio Operator) and Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) are different, and candidates need to fulfill the academic qualifications and age limit criteria mentioned in the recruitment notice.
