Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is inviting applications from Indian citizens for a one-year apprenticeship training programme at its Avionics Division in Hyderabad for the year 2023-24. HAL is a state-owned aerospace and defence company headquartered in Bangalore, India, which designs, develops, and manufactures aircraft, helicopters, and their associated components and systems. The training programme is in line with the provisions of the Apprentices Act, of 1951, and is open to candidates who have passed the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in the respective trades recognized by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).
As per HAL Recruitment 2023 official notification, a total of 178 seats are available for 13 trades, including , mechanic, fitter, electrician, machinist, turner, welder, refrigeration and AC mechanic, computer operator and programming assistant (COPA), plumber, painter, diesel mechanic, motor vehicle mechanic, and draughtsman. The selected apprentices will receive a stipend every month as per the Apprentices Act, of 1961, and its subsequent amendments. The reservation for the engagement of apprentices will be admissible as per The Apprenticeship Act, 1951, and its subsequent amendments.
