The Northern Railway Recruitment Cell has released an employment notice, RRC/NR-03/2022-23/Sports Quota, for the recruitment of Sports Personnel from open market advertisement against sports quota in the year 2022-23. As per Northern Railway Recruitment 2023 official notification, the recruitment process aims to fill 21 Vacancies in levels 2,3,4 & 5 of Pay Matrix 7th CPC against Sports Quota through Open Advertisement Quota. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria may apply online on or before 2nd June 2023. The opening of the online filling of the application will commence on 3rd May 2023 at 16:00 hours, and the expected date of the trial is 16th June 2023. Candidates can apply for each separate discipline/game if they are eligible with separate examination fees as applicable for each application.
As mentioned in the official notification for Northern Recruitment 2023, the eligibility criteria for the recruitment process include an age limit, minimum educational qualifications, and minimum sports norms for recruitment. The age limit for the candidates is between 18-25 years as of 01/07/2023, with no upper or lower age relaxation permissible. Candidates should possess the requisite educational qualifications as of the notification date, including graduation from a recognized university or passing 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination from a recognized institution for levels 4,5, and levels 2,3, respectively. Moreover, a candidate possessing a higher educational qualification should also upload their graduation/post-graduation certificate. Candidates should note that the only 10th standard/Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate/mark sheet indicating Date of Birth or School Leaving Certificate indicating Date of Birth will be accepted as documentary proof of Date of Birth.
