Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), seeks applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Junior Research Officer (Research, Statistics & Analysis) on two year probation period. As per the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, there are three (03) vacant posts under EWS, OBC, ST, and PwBD categories only. The appointed candidates will be recruited for the Delhi office. The candidates interested in this post shouldn’t be above 35 years among all mentioned categories. The shortlisted candidates will be paid a monthly salary on Level-7 (Rs.44,900-1,42,400) with other regulated allowances.
As mentioned in the official notice of UPSC Recruitment 2023, applicants will be appointed under General Central Service, Group-B, Gazetted, and Non-Ministerial terms. Candidates interested in this position should visit the official UPSC website to register on or before 15.06.2023. The candidates must fulfill the eligibility requirements specified in the official notification. He/she must have a Master’s Degree in Statistics, Operation Research, Economics or Sociology or Psychology, Applied Statistics, or Mathematical Statistics from a recognized University or Institute. The appointed individuals will be assigned projects/jobs such as assisting senior officers in the collection, compilation, tabulation, analysis, and analysis of statistical data, writing of various statistical reports, supervising “updation of data into designed programs/computer systems” & codification of data/records, among other vital jobs.
