Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is under the administrative control of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs Food and Public Distribution, Government of India invites applications from qualified candidates for the post of Consultant (Standard promotion). As given in the official notification of BIS recruitment 2023, the applicant must have done an M.B.A. (Marketing) or equivalent degree in Mass Communication or Master in Social Work (MSW) with 2 years of experience in marketing and mass communication, preferably

in Central Govt./State Govt./PSU/Autonomous Organizations. There are a total of 16 vacancies for the given post. As per the official notification of BIS recruitment 2023, the appointment is made on a contractual basis for 6 months.

All the applications received will be shortlisted on the basis of qualification and experience and shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The date, time and venue of the selection process will be intimated later to the shortlisted candidates. As mentioned in the official notification of BIS recruitment 2023, the selected candidate will be given a monthly salary of up to Rs. 50000.
