VACANCY IN EXTERNAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT

  

The Ministry of External Affairs is inviting interested and eligible candidates for the post of Consultant in the Central Passport Organization. As mentioned in the official notification of the Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2023, there are 04 vacancies available for the mentioned position. The candidates applying for the mentioned position should have superannuated from the Central Passport Organization at the level of Superintendent and above (pay level 07 and above). The candidates should have extensive experience in Administration Establishment, Court Cases, Grievance redressal/ public dealing matters related to the Passport Offices. The selected candidates will get a fixed monthly amount shall be admissible, arrived at by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at retirement. The candidates applying for the mentioned opportunity should not be more than 65 years. The amount of remuneration so fixed shall remain unchanged for the term of the contract.

As stated in the official notification of the Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2023, the appointment will be on a contractual basis for a period of 01 year, which can be extended further depending on the assessment of performance, mutual willingness and depending on the requirement. The applicable candidates will be selected on the basis of interviews conducted by the committee. The decision of the Government regarding the selection of the candidates shall be final.
