The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is looking for applications from retired government servants for engagement as a consultant at the deputy secretary level in the office of UPSC. There are 06 seats available for the positions mentioned. As indicated in the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, candidates should have retired from the rank of Deputy Secretary or equivalent, i.e., from the post in Level-12 of the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC (pre-revised GP-7600/- in PB-3) from any Ministry or Department of the Government of India. The maximum age of the candidates should be 64 years as on the closing date.
Referring to the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, for persons retired with NPS, an amount equivalent to 30% of the last pay drawn at the time of retirement shall be deducted from the last basic pay and the resultant amount shall be the fixed monthly amount as remuneration. Based on the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, willing and eligible candidates can fill out the application form and send it along with the relevant documents to the undersecretary (admin), R.No. 11, annex building (ground floor), Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069, on or before the last date.
