India Post is inviting interested and eligible candidates for the post of Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade). As mentioned in the official notification of India Post Recruitment 2024, there are 05 vacancies for the mentioned position in various divisions. The candidates selected for the mentioned position will get a monthly salary in the Pay Level-2 of Pay Band-I (Rs.5200-20200) in the pay matrix as per the 7th CPC. The candidates must have a valid Driving License for Light and Heavy Motor Vehicles. The candidates applying for the mentioned position should have relevant years of experience in their appropriate field. The candidates applying for the mentioned position should not be more than 56 years of age.

As mentioned in the official notification of India Post Recruitment 2024, the period of deputation will not exceed 03 years. Drivers will have to drive heavy and light commercial vehicles for transportation of mail, cash, etc. No provision for reservation exists for the posts to be filled up on a deputation/absorption basis.
