Oil India Limited (OIL) is hiring young, hardworking candidates for the posts of Contractual Electrician, Contractual Mechanic (AC and R), and Contractual Associate Engineer (Electrical). The engagement will be purely on a contractual basis only. The initial period of the above contractual engagement will be for 06 (Six) months only. Further, the period of the above contractual engagement may be extendable after the requisite interval for the subsequent period of 06 (Six) months only depending on the departmental requirement, job performance, conduct, physical fitness, etc., as applicable. The total period of the above contractual engagement will be a maximum of 12 (twelve) months only.

As per the official notification of Oil India Recruitment 2024, The minimum age for each post and category is 20 years and the maximum age varies as per category, 35 years for the General Category, 40 years for the SC/ST Category, and 38 years for OBC Category candidates. The monthly compensation for the chosen candidates will consist of a fixed emolument and a variable emolument (see below). There are a total of 40 Vacancies for the above posts, out of these 18 vacancies for Contractual Electrician, 02 vacancies for Contractual Mechanics (AC and R) and 20 Vacancies for Contractual Associate Engineers (Electrical). The selection process will be determined on the basis of a walk-in practical/ skill test cum personal assessment(s), which will be held at the Employees Welfare Office, Nehru Maidan OIL, Duliajan, on 21-10-2024, 23-10-2024 and 25-10-2024.
