The Indian Army is looking for interested and eligible candidates for the post of Junior Commissioned Officer, Religious Teacher Junior Commissioned Officer, Soldier (General Duty), Soldier/ CLK, Soldier/ Tailor, Soldier/ Chef Community, Soldier/ Hair Dresser, Soldier/ Washerman, Soldier/ Artisian Metallurgy and Soldier/ Housekeeper. There are 184 vacancies for the above-mentioned opportunities as per the official notification of Indian Army Recruitment 2024. The candidates should get enrolled within 05 years from the date of retirement. JCOs can serve upto 55 years and OR can serve upto 50 years. The period of engagement of the selected candidates will remain valid for an appropriate period of 02 years. The service may be extended further for an initial period of 01 year based on the candidate’s performance and the committee’s requirements.

The official notification of Indian Army Recruitment 2024 states that the ex-servicemen (pension holder only) or ex-women employees (including premature retirees) of MoEF and CC and State Forest Department with a minimum of 20 years of service in MoEF and CC/ State Forest Department. The selection for the above-described positions will be based on the Physical Test, Proficiency Test, Medical Examination, and Interview conducted by the committee/ Board of Officers. In reference to the official notification of Indian Army Recruitment 2024, the candidates who meet the eligibility criteria in all respects as per the post’s requirements may visit the selection procedure conducted by the committee along with all the relevant documents as asked by the committee. The candidates reaching beyond the reporting time will not be entertained by the committee at any cost.
